  • Datacom’s new Auckland home officially opened

    ​IT services provider Datacom has officially opened its new office in Auckland’s innovation hub at Wynyard Quarter, bringing together 1,200 staff five previously spread across five Auckland offices.

    ​vGRID, a New Zealand based SaaS and IaaS provider focussed on the small to medium business market, has moved from its datacentre at Waikato Innovation Park into Datacom’s Kapua data centre and has become the first company in New Zealand to deploy HPE’s Synergy product, claimed by HPE to embody a new architecture that it calls ‘composable infrastructure’.

  • Datacom’s investment delivers growth

    Australasian IT services provider, Datacom, has reported an increase in revenue of 13 percent, to $1.058 billion, and an increase in after tax profit of 11.9 percent to $27.2 million for the year to 31 March 2016. Pre-tax profit was up 16.7 percent to $41.2 million.
