Finmatica & Microlistics Form Alliance to deliver FineTMS Transportation Management Suite
Sydney, Australia - November 20 2003 - Finmatica has teamed with Microlistics to launch the FINeTMS Transportation Management Suite in Asia Pacific. Under the terms of the agreement, Microlistics will provide sales and marketing support for Finmatica’s FINeTMS suite as well as work to develop their own in-house technical support capabilities to manage implementations in the Asia Pacific region.
This partnership with Microlistics confirms Finmatica’s strategy of creating solid relationships with international partners that can provide new market opportunities and expand worldwide delivery capabilities. “The choice of Microlistics was highly strategic given their strong presence and long heritage in the Transportation and Logistics industry. The depth of their knowledge acquired over the past 15 years in this market is compelling," said Chris Navybox, VP, Asia Pacific Operations for Finmatica. "There is also a very strong synergy between the Microlistics ISIS Warehouse Management System and FINeTMS which, from a technical view point, is attractive for us and our customers," continued Navybox.
"This alliance with Finmatica comes on the back of a 12 year association and the successful deployment of technology in blue chip organizations like Nestle, Holden and Mitre10," said Mark Dawson, CEO of Microlistics.
"FINeTMS is a natural extension of our commitment to providing innovative, best of breed supply chain execution technology solutions, and I am confident that our alliance with Finmatica will deliver value to our customers," explained Dawson. "We are also very pleased to be able to leverage Finmatica's vast experience in supply chain planning."
