US$15 Million Licensing Deal To Bolster Mercury Interactive’s Next-Generation Application Management Offerings

SUNNYVALE, CALIF. AND AUSTIN, TEXAS– AUG. 4, 2003 – Today, Mercury Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ: MERQ), the global leader in business technology optimization (BTO), and Motive ( announced that Mercury Interactive has licensed ecosystem blueprinting technology from Motive for integration with Mercury Interactive’s next-generation application management software. The relationship gives Mercury Interactive first-mover advantage in providing proactive, automated problem resolution in application management software.
