Australian Telco brand name is currently looking for a Test Analyst to support their large security big data program here in Melbourne!

  • Initial 2-month contract with a view to extend into 2018!
  • Great Melbourne CBD location
  • Must have: functional testing of security software products (i.e. CyberArk)

Due to recent progress in this organisations program, our client is looking to embed an experienced test analyst into their respected big data program.

This position is accountable for the overall testing outcomes within a testing portfolio which will see you working extensively with stakeholders and vendor partners.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop a basic test plan based on requirements and acceptance criteria provided by the project team
  • Develop specific test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria provided by the project team
  • Execute deliverables within the test plan such as:
    • Functional testing of software products (i.e. CyberArk)
    • End-to-end testing of solution based use cases provided by the project
    • Stress-and-volume testing to confirm the solution adheres to SLAs provided by the project
    • Regression testing where legacy systems are impacted by the implementation of new software (i.e. CyberArk)
    • User Acceptance testing. Requires interfacing with our project stakeholders to determine strategy and test cases for user acceptance of the new solution
  • Production Verification Testing to confirm the system functions as expected after go-live
  • Ability to work with our internal tools and technology for the purpose of testing (e.g. Quality Centre)
  • Produce a Test Summary Report (TSR) consolidating the output of various test methods against agreed test cases
  • Validate test output against a requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
Additionally, the following attributes would be advantageous:

  • Ability to self-manage and own project QA
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and project deadlines
  • Ability to work proactively with external vendors
  • Ability to provide clear and precise progress reports to the PM on a weekly basis


To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
  • Proven enterprise level Program Testing experience
  • Career in technology with a large component of Testing
  • Proven experience within testing capability of complex environments
  • Experience working in a 'partner' environment
  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent testing projects
