Intel is evaluating a new processor core optimised specifically for mobile computing that will put wireless technologies like 802.11 and Bluetooth directly on the chip, and address low-power and thermal issues critical to mobile computing, according to Frank Spindler, the vice president and director of marketing for Intel's Mobile and Handheld Products Group.
