Growing mobile workforce software provider GeoOp has been ranked as one of the fastest growing businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, making the Kiwi company one of the leading performers in the software sector.
The New Zealand-based company placed 41st in the Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific list with revenue growth of 935 percent for the three years to June 2015.
The annual list, produced by global accounting firm Deloitte, celebrates 500 growth leaders in hardware, software, communications, media, life sciences and clean technology - open to companies with headquarters in Asia-Pacific and that have been in business for a minimum of three years.
GEO CEO Anna Cicognani says the company has been focused on building user numbers in its main markets of Australia, New Zealand and North America.
“This result shows that our strategy is working,” Dr Cicognani says. “GEO is striving to constantly improve our customers’ experience, especially when it comes to integrations with other business software, such as Xero, Quickbooks and Navman.
“Our recently announced easy-payments system, GeoPay, is another way we have shown that we put our customers first.”
Dr Cicognani says GEO has grown strongly over the past 12 months and won several hi-tech and business support awards - operating in 35 countries and 44 industry sectors, with an emphasis on construction trades.
According to Deloitte, only two New Zealand companies made the top 50 - GEO and Transcribe Me, which ranked 18th.
The fastest-growing entrant was South Korean entertainment software company Devsisters with 8516 per cent revenue growth over three years.
