Exo-net 6000 changes aimed at usability

Buch, in New Zealand for the launch of exo-net 6000 last week, says software companies that grow as rapidly as exo-net has, face the challenge of making sure customer support stays apace of sales. That can be exacerbated when the software isn’t as user-friendly as it could be and Buch, who is managing director for Australia, New Zealand and Asia, says there are some usability issues with exo-net 3000.
“You had to be an expert to implement it; there wasn’t a proper help function and you had to know your way around the files really well.
“When we re-coded from [version] 3000 to 6000 there was a lot of focusing on taking it from something which has great technology, but a slightly ‘industrial’ feel to great technology which gives a great user experience.”
