Telecom's chief transformation officer, Frank Mount, has resigned.
The resignation was accepted by Telecom CEO Paul Reynolds this morning and is effective immediately, according to a statement from Telecom. A Telecom spokeswoman declined to comment to Computerworld about whether Mount's resgination is related to the XT network outages, saying more detail would be revealed at a press conference on the XT situation scheduled for this afternoon.
In the statement announcing Mount's resignation, Reynolds is quoted as saying: “In the interests of our customers, our team and New Zealand, I have regretfully accepted Frank’s resignation.
