DHS official resigns over degree controversy

The deputy CIO at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security resigned from her post amdist controversy over a PhD she earned from Hamilton University, an alleged diploma mill in Evanston, Wyo. Laura Callahan had been on administrative leave prior to her resignation on March 26, 2004.
