FRAMINGHAM (12/12/2003) - Roy Dunbar, chief executive officer at Eli Lilly and Co., has been promoted to president of intercontinental operations. He joined Indianapolis-based Lilly in 1990 and has held various management positions. Mike Heim, who has been Lilly's chief technology officer since 2000, will take Dunbar's place as CIO. Heim started at Lilly as a systems analyst and has held key IT positions supporting R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing.
