Casino operator Skycity Entertainment Group has contracted Intergen, a subsidiary of Australian Microsoft solutions provider Empired, to provide Microsoft Dynamics 365 to 6,000 users across Australia and New Zealand.
The deal covers the implementation of Dynamics 365 for Operations with a focus on finance and supply chain. According to Intergen Skycity will standardise financial practices across the organisations using best practice guidelines included in Dynamics 365 for Operations and gain access to real-time numbers and analytics that will enable it to extract strategic, data-driven insights.
Intergen CEO, Simon Bright, said: “Intergen will bring Skycity into the modern world from an application perspective, providing a lot more benefits and tools for employees, and giving the organisation a complete technical refresh.”
Skycity deputy CEO, Richard Smyth said Skycity had been looking for something to mitigate the risk of its existing system. “Ease of use was also a critical factor because of the number of users across the business,” he said.
“As this is such an important business system, it was critical that we could trust our partner, and Intergen’s expertise, professionalism, and assurance gave us confidence that it was the right choice.”
Intergen says it was chosen through a competitive tender for its commitment to understanding the business, the relationship with the Skycity team, and for its close working relationship with Microsoft.
