CodeBlue has rolled out a nationwide evolution of its CIO Services, with new appointments, new processes and new capabilities as it aims to align IT strategy with business outcomes across the country.
CodeBlue CEO, Chris Mackay, says the new CIO Services gives the IT managed services firm the capability to provide the “IT and business strategic horsepower required” at a national level, for businesses operating within the 20-300 seat space.
“It’s no longer enough just to give customers ‘IT that works’,” Mackay says.
“We’re moving to the next level, which is ‘IT that works to make your business better’.”
Mackay says CodeBlue now has Virtual CIOs (vCIOs) in place at branches around the country with the interlocking CIO Services spanning across strategic planning, to security audits and business continuity planning.
Looking ahead, Mackay believes the investment CodeBlue has made in developing and integrating CIO Services is an “important evolution” in the company’s ability to deliver business outcomes.
“The fact that we’re vendor agnostic and have an absolute focus on delivering value over time are important elements,” he adds.
“But the most important new element in CIO Services is our ability to align technology with business goals. That’s an absolute game changer. It’s a logical continuation of our ‘first we understand your business’ strategy.”
Going forward, Mackay says CodeBlue’s focus is to build its lead in the 20-300 seat market space across New Zealand.
“We’re already doing it,” adds Mackay, alluding to the company’s with Buckley Systems and Tradietech.
