FRAMINGHAM (10/03/2003) - Nortel Networks Corp. and Solectron Corp. said they have revised a 3-year-old contract under which Milpitas, Calif.-based Solectron manufactures products for Brampton, Ontario-based Nortel. The deal, which was due to expire next year, was extended to 2009. But the companies sharply reduced its projected value to US$7.5 billion. The initial contract was for $10.4 billion.
