Slingshot has won best Internet Service Provider in the Quality Service Awards 2015 presented by monthly magazine Reader’s Digest.
In the Landline and ISP category, Slingshot came out on top ahead of all the other New Zealand telcos.
The research, which canvassed more than 1,600 people, focussed on everything from a customer’s personalised experience and satisfaction through to a company’s reliability and understanding of its customers.
Slingshot defeated its rivals in customer satisfaction and reliability areas with survey respondents commenting on the call centre staff’s “fast simple communication” and expertise to solve internet problems quickly and efficiently while also topping the list as the telco who its customers would recommend to family and friends.
Slingshot General Manager Taryn Hamilton says the award is testament to the company’s focus on “top quality customer service” and bringing the “best possible” products to market.
“It’s all about putting your customers first and giving them great value and great quality products,” he says. “That sort of thinking is what Slingshot was built on.
“Our goal is to not just provide the best value and most reliable broadband in New Zealand, but also give our customers products and features – like Global Mode and data only plans – that are different from anything else that’s out there.”
The Reader’s Digest award comes on top of Slingshot being named best performing Broadband Provider in a survey by consumer ratings organisation Canstar Blue in February.
