An integration between Warehouse Stationery and Xero’s cloud platform will give customers the ability to receive invoices from the former directly into the accounting solution.
According to the companies, small businesses will be able to pay their bills directly to the bank from Warehouse Stationery. The integration will go live in August, and follows on moves from Xero to integrate with ASB, Kiwibank and TSB Bank.
Xero New Zealand MD Victoria Crone said, “Effectively we’re becoming an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platform for New Zealand. We know that cashflow is paramount for small businesses and this latest innovation reduces time consuming manual entry, enabling small businesses to get a faster view of their cashflow position.
“There is so much potential for big businesses to work with small businesses to deliver dual benefits. Planning is under way for other corporates to join the Xero ecosystem.”
“This innovative initiative with Xero will help our business account customers save time in how they manage their businesses. The move also provides a great incentive for our customers to transition to online billing and the realise the efficiencies it offers to both parties," said Warehouse Stationery CEO Pejman Okhovat.
