Fastway Couriers has extended its current contract with Gen-i by five years. The deal, which builds on a 15-year relationship, comprises ongoing provision of the company’s fixed voice and mobile services and Internet services for its global network.
"Fastway were pleased to re-sign with Gen-i for a further five year term not only because of the competitive rates on offer but just as much for the excellent back up and support services we have experienced in the past,” said group MD for Fastway Global, Brem Ellingham.
“We believe the local service provided by Gen-i is extremely beneficial to our business. Their 24 hour support is critical to an international franchise operation like ours, and vital to the success of our company,” he added.
Fastway intends to use Gen-i’s technology provision to work on growth initiatives for the future.
“Our focus will be on introducing new solutions that make Fastway Couriers even more attractive to New Zealand-based and international online retailers,” states Ellingham.
Fastway Couriers, which has been operating for 30 years, has a global network of 63 depots and 1200 franchisees across New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Northern Ireland and South Africa.
