IT services company CodeBlue has expanded into the Manawatu with the opening of a Palmerston North office. The company is in hiring mode, looking to establish a team of around 11 trusted advisors and support staff.
CodeBlue Manawatu will be tightly coupled with CodeBlue Hawkes Bay, says Hawkes Bay CodeBlue regional manager Rohan Bowyer, leveraging CodeBlue’s experience and expertise in diversified primary industries.
“We’ve looked at Manawatu for some time now. There are existing CodeBlue customers with branch operations in Palmerston North, as well as Palmerston North-based companies that are already being serviced from Hawkes Bay. Venison Packers, Kilt Clothing regional operations, and the mill operations of Kiwi Lumber are among some of these companies,” he says.
“Our customers and contacts have indicated that there is a gap in the IT infrastructure and managed services market in the Manawatu, and the market is more than ready for our type of offering. There is really no one else in Palmerston North who is specialising in mid-sized businesses of between 20 to 300 seats who can offer a sophisticated service," Bowyer says.
“The lynch pin of CodeBlue’s value is the trusted advisor, who works closely with the customer to manage an IT strategic planning process. That can only be done by having the calibre of people who understand both business and technology, and who can plan and manage the best mix of services to get to the best business outcomes."
CodeBlue has appointed Stewart Jacob as the Manawatu lead trusted advisor.
CodeBlue is a locally-owned IT services company with over 100 staff working from offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Invercargill. The company offers IT managed services for a fixed monthly price, optimised for mid-sized companies and organisations.
