John Bell, who last week left Fujitsu after nine years heading the company in New Zealand, restructured himself out of a job. He has joined Telecom as business development general manager.
He will be replaced at Fujitsu in the interim by Australian business development manager Terence Robertson until a decision is made on how Bell’s role will be filled.
Robertson is quick to emphasise that Fujitsu New Zealand will continue to remain autonomous, as will subsidiary Southmark.
On the move to Telecom, Bell says: “I’m excited about the different opportunity. Business development appeals a lot to me.”
