Microsoft today will launch a service designed to provide Microsoft Network users with the tools and information they need to track their personal investment portfolio, according to company officials.
Called Microsoft Personal Investor 1.0, the service will be free to all MSN users. Microsoft officials have not ruled out the possibility of launching the service on the Internet at a later date.
In 1997 the service will be rolled out in the UK and other major markets, officials say. The initial release will give users access to slightly delayed Wall Street quotes, provide portfolio information and give market summaries and information.
