The Consumers' Institute has launched a Website which provides a useful array of free advice and information, along with full online subscription and sales facilities.

The site, at http://www.consumer.org.nz, delivers on an undertaking made by institute head David Russell in February, when Consumer magazine published the results of its second national ISP survey.

The site contains cover shots, contents listings and summaries from current issues of Consumer and Consumer Home & Garden magazines, with selected stories available free online - with searchable indexes for both publications going back three years; What's News, a regular consumer issues bulletin service also available by email; and an online version of the popular publication 20 Letters That Get Results.

A regular ISP price survey called Net Connections will be added to the site soon, having been stymied by computer problems resulting from a fire.

The site has been designed by the Wellington company SFx Designers (http://www.sfx.co.nz).
