Wellington-based Electronic Document Management is up for sale after being put into voluntary liquidation.
The fate of its 10 staff is uncertain.
“If we sell off various parts of the company, they may go with it,” says managing director Tony Whale.
He says he is talking to a number of interested parties and that the business will also be advertised for sale.
He wasn’t prepared to say why the 10-year-old company had been put into voluntary liquidation.
Cryptically, he says: “We got bored with the New Zealand market.” Then: “We haven’t decided what we’re doing.”
Whale says he is involved in other companies unrelated to EDM. “We may carry on with other things. It’s undecided. It may or may not be in the IT industry.”
