Ihug opens IT training school

The Internet Group (Ihug) has ventured into IT training with the launch of its Information Technology Institute. ITI has been certified as a Microsoft authorised training provider and will run courses at Internet House, Ihug's new building in Newton Road in central Auckland.

The Internet Group (Ihug) has ventured into IT training with the launch of its Information Technology Institute.

ITI has been certified as a Microsoft authorised training provider and will run courses at Internet House, Ihug's new building in Newton Road in central Auckland. Training will be offered in the major Microsoft desktop applications, including FrontPage 98 and Access and there will be beginners and advanced courses in Internet use.

Ihug director Tim Wood says the company regards training as a significant new opportunity and has extra space available should it need to expand its facilities.
