Novell to announce NetWare 5.0 on Monday

Novell will on Monday will announce pricing and availability for NetWare 5.0, the latest version of its flagship networking operating system. Previously code-named Moab, NetWare 5.0 will feature native TCP/IP and Java support; easier integration between TCP/IP and IPX/SPX environments; better security, including server-side certificate authority distribution and user-selectable levels of cryptography; a GUI-based installation program; and improved fault-tolerance and load-balancing for DNS and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
