The Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand (ICANZ) will launch its Web site on November 9.
The site, www.icanz.co.nz, is designed to improve communication with ICANZ members by using a distributed publishing system. The institute's 20 branches in New Zealand, Sydney and the UK will be able to inform local members of news and events.
ICANZ communications manager Angus McLeod says the site, which was developed by Hamilton-based Webmasters, will just carry news to begin with "but what we end up doing will depend on the feedback we get and, of course, technology advances".
The ICANZ site will offer professional development resources from next year. A distance learning course in project management is being adapted for online training.
