For the second time this week, Network Solutions (NSI) has announced that it has signed a deal under which its domain-name registration service will be promoted on an Internet portal site -- this time on Netscape Communications' Netcenter.
On Tuesday, NSI announced that it had reached an agreement with Yahoo. Under terms of the deal announced yesterday, NSI will be the only company on certain Netcenter channels to be allowed to market its domain-name registration service, NSI said in a statement. NSI also will market other of its services via Netcenter, including a business e-mail offering.
NSI registers Internet domain names in the .com, .net and .org domains.
