Firm targets Telecom clients

Telecommunications company WorldxChange has made a bid for disgruntled Telecom phone card customers, but Telecom has promised to counter-attack with special offers. WorldXChange is offering a $15 account credit for new subscribers in exchange for Telecom phone cards. Customers who hand in phone cards of any denominaton and sign up for its national and international toll service will get the $15 credit to their first bill. WorldxChange says it will offer the residual value on the cards to charity.

WorldXChange is offering a $15 account credit for new subscribers in exchange for Telecom phone cards. Customers who hand in phone cards of any denominaton and sign up for its national and international toll service will get the $15 credit to their first bill. WorldxChange says it will offer the residual value on the cards to charity.

Telecom, however, says customers will have the chance to use up their cards by the end of the year through special offers.
