Clear Net has launched its flat rate Internet plan by offering unlimited time online for $39.95 (including GST) per month. In a promotional offer, customers who sign up before 8 July will have their first month's access free. The ISP will also be offering a yearly pre-paid flat rate, the pricing of which will be announced next week.
Clear Net's flat rate offering is the latest in a slew of such announcements which began when Clear stated it was upgrading its network and would provide a flat rate plan. This was followed by flat rate annoucements by Telecom Xtra, Meridien, Quik NZ, and a revision by IHUG of its existing flat rate to fall in with the $39.95 per month trend.
