Qantas Flies to Schedule After Shutdown

A computer system glitch caused delays to Qantas flights last week, as processes which are normally executed electronically had to be performed manually

Qantas passengers last week experienced delays on both domestic and international flights as a result of a problem with the airline's computer system.

According to officials, the effects of an overnight shutdown of Qantas's computer system on Tuesday night resulted in delays to flights throughout the day.

The shut down meant that some processes which are normally executed electronically had to be performed manually.

Speaking last night, Qantas officials said the problem had been rectified, and flights were expected to run according to schedule from this morning.
