Menagh to leave top Internet job at Clear

Ian Scherger, who left Xtra earlier this year, will become Clear's acting online services director when Deborah Menagh leaves the post next month after three and a half years in the job.

Ian Scherger, who left Xtra earlier this year, will become Clear's acting online services director when Deborah Menagh leaves the post next month.

Menagh, who has been at Clear three and a half years, guided the launch and expansion of Clear Net. She said yesterday she was "considering a number of options but, for the time being, a sailing holiday is very high on the agenda."

Clear chief executive Tim Cullinane praised Menagh's "outstanding contribution" to the development of Clear Net and Clear's services strategy, and of the company's overall focus on online services.
