Lacey Lee Recruitment replies: The first question you need to answer is whether you are looking to find a role in sales or in a technical capacity. Your technical skills look very limited and it would be difficult to secure a position in the IT industry on the basis of what you have outlined. Your marketability as a sales person depends on the specifics of what you have been selling for Sony.
If you have experience selling software solutions or systems integration packages to large organisations and have an outstanding sales track record in this context, you should find opportunities. However, if that is not the case you may find opportunities very limited in mainstream IT & T sales. It is difficult to put a value against your worth in relation to a sales role not knowing the type and extent of your sales experience. For your information, IT & T sales professionals typically earn between $70,000 and $200,000, depending upon experience.
