An employment website set up by a recruitment consultant is claiming 20,000 unique users per day and an average 10% increase in ratings each month.
Staffyourself.com, which was launched last year and provides a range of job categories including IT, lists job ads for free. Employers can see basic candidate details or pay for a complete CV. A fully automated paid service is available for $50 a month or $250 a year. Other services include email alerts, automatic job notifications, rejection letters and newsletters.
Owners John Forrest and business partner Liv Frederikson say Staffyourself.com is so automatic, it can just about run itself. Forrest has worked in the industry for several years, and still works for IT Futures in the daytime. Frederikson is a former general manager in the telecommunications and electrical industry.
The website was developed by the couple and Digital Media Design (now N4B.com). Testing took four months. The site database is powered by Cold Fusion.
NZpeople.co.nz, which charges job-seekers rather than employers, was launched earlier this month.
