The Warriors rugby league team is issuing season ticket holders with automated access cards which will also supply information to team administrators.
Recently listed company and information management specialist Cadmus Technology has been appointed to supply the ground access control cards and ticket holder electronic management programme.
The contract signed with Cadmus provides for a range of access control cards and readers as well as a database management system. Season tickets holders are issued with a card that allows them access to the grounds and simultaneously captures the information of the entry and reports back to the Warriors’ administration.
Cadmus managing director Ian Bailey says the battery powered card reader system is also being evaluated for international markets.
The card readers are placed at the entry gates prior to each game, information is loaded in to the readers to identify that the season ticket is valid and allows the spectator access to the ground.
