Canada, Latin America and Australia are next on the radar screens for Auckland business process automation software company InfoLink after one of its products impressed the head of a multinational electronics and security company.

InfoLink's automated workflow product Viibe is being used in Auckland security systems company Protector, which is an agent for ADT Security, part of the $US3 billion conglomerate Tyco.

Tyco alarm division vice president Lou Sepulveda came to New Zealand last week after hearing reports of what Viibe was doing for Protector. Hill says Viibe provides a browser-based environment where business processes such as accounting, job dispatches, credit checks and orders can all be done online and automatically reconcile and balance with each other.

Hill says Tyco’s Kozlowski immediately noted that he could replicate Protector’s system throughout the group to keep his worldwide accounts up to date.
