Commsoft shares nosedive

CRM and call centre software developer Commsoft shares plunged more than half their value last week after the company announced a $A6.25 million operating loss on revenues of only $A3.86 million for the six months to December 31, 2000.

CRM and call centre software developer Commsoft shares plunged more than half their value last week after the company announced a $A6.25 million operating loss on revenues of only $A3.86 million for the six months to December 31, 2000.

On Monday, after the Friday announcement, the company’s stock price tumbled A39c on the ASX to A21c and fell 42c to 28c on the NZSE – and yesterday was still on a downward trend. Commsoft directors told the ASX that if projected cashflows are not achieved its contingency plans include workforce cuts and an end to “non-core” activities.
