Com Tech Education Services is to stage an open day on March 31 to help people choose the “Career of a Lifetime”.
The event at the company's Wellington offices in Microsoft House in Hunter Street looks at the skills gap, training options, employment opportunities, admissions policies and scholarship availability.
Com Tech’s IT Intensive programme certifies students with A+ and Microsoft certified professional qualifications. IT Intensive also forms the first part of Com Tech’s three and a half year Batchelor of Computing Degree, which it launched last year with Microsoft and Australia’s Deakin University.
The degree includes three years job placement, distance learning with the university and classroom study with Comtech, and gives graduates an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).
