Amway is relocating its Australian call centre operations to New Zealand.
The retailer presently operates a centre in each country, employing 35 in Sydney and 10 in East Tamaki. Amway says the shift follows a worldwide corporate restructure and New Zealand was "the most competitive option to operate our regional call centre."
The expanded centre, fully operational in September, will operate up to 17 hours a day to from 7.30am to 12.30am New Zealand time to cater for time zones from New Zealand to Perth. Some staff will be multilingual.
