The New Zealand Dairy Board has named its second information chief.

The CIO for global operations and the international food ingredients business, NZMP, is Marcel Van Denassum, former director of outsourcing at Unisys.

NZ Milk division information chief Ron Peake’s appointment was announced in February. He was formerly ENZA’s head of global IS solutions.

Dairy Board acting CIO Joost de Kock signs off in the first week of May and will return to Sydney, where he works for the Boston Consulting Group.

De Kock was seconded to the Wellington-based post last November. He has completed an IS transformation project, creating two separate IS groups to serve the different companies, and created an infrastructure services department to serve the whole Dairy Board business.

De Kock also worked on a new systems delivery process and helped create a portfolio process for prioritising projects.
