Credit research company Baycorp has bought Australian software developer Axcess Consulting for $A2.5 million in pursuit of its strategy to provide outsourced, ASP and licensed loan management software in Australasia.

Baycorp managing director Keith McLaughlin says Baycorp plans to integrate Axcess into its business of outsourced loan management services.

Axcess developed Axcess Relationship Manager (ARM) a banking software solution with supporting tools such as accounting and general ledger, email and fax integration.

Baycorp has licensed ARM from Axcess for a number of years and, in conjunction with Baycorp’s proprietary online loan origination service, already provides fully outsourced loan management services to a number of lending institutions in New Zealand.
