The Advantage Group has appointed Tony Bradley, most recently senior IT specialist with Deloitte, as group chief executive. He replaces Greg Cross.

Bradley also has experience as managing director of AT&T and NCR.

The appointment comes at a time when questions are being asked, and a report is imminent, on the structure of the group’s “e-services” division, casting doubt on the viability of continued ownership of some of Advantage’s IT and internet subsidiaries.

Bradley’s experience is still very relevant to the top position, says chairman Evan Christian.

“Tony is ideally suited to lead Advantage forward," Christian says. ”He knows our business sector well, having worked in areas that relate to each of Advantage’s four businesses during his career.”

The review of e-services operations may bring a result this week, says interim head Stewart McKenzie. The findings were expected at the end of last week, but the review process has been a little slower than expected. This is not a result any particular factor, but just the volume of work, McKenzie says.
