Called Oxygen Business Solutions, the unit is headed by former CHH information chief Jeremy Fleming. Oxygen is 100% owned by CHH, but that may change in two or three years, says Fleming. “In 10 years we intend to be among the top business solutions providers in the Asia-Pacific region.”

As well as a five-year contract to supply core IT and business processing services to CHH, Oxygen has two external customers in New Zealand and one in the US.

Oxygen has 160 staff in Auckland, 20 in the Bay of Plenty and 40 in Melbourne. It offers business services including payroll, cash and credit management, help desk/support centre and on-site engineering, technical supplier and vendor management, PC connectivity, infrastructure and network provision and management, hosting and support of the SAP ERP application, and hosting HR application CHRIS and data warehousing system Essbase.
