IDGNet reporter Paul Brislen has been named TUANZ telecommunications journalist of the year.
He was presented with the honour at the telecommunications user organisation’s awards bash in Auckland last night.
Brislen’s reporting and opinion pieces, which appear online and in Computerworld, were judged “very accessible and thought-provoking”.
Computerworld also got a mention at the event, attended by more than 450 people, as a finalist in the voted technology media category.
Xtra was voted ISP of the year and Telecom and Vodafone equal best telecommuncations carrier of the year.
