The downturn in the IT industry has taken its toll on another company.
CallTime, an Australian-based reseller of voice recognition, interaction management, VoIP and CRM products, has laid off two of nine staff in its Auckland office.
One position was in sales and the other in project management, CallTime New Zealand general manager Bill Garcia says.
"It's a bit sad, but we had to look at our numbers and prospects - a lot of people in the industry are experiencing the same thing at the moment."
CallTime's Australian operation has also shed staff, Garcia says.
