Trivia question: which body holds the world record for the most bald heads created in a day?
The answer is the Leukaemia Foundation, with no small contribution from the Australian offices of consultancy Accenture.
One senior staff member who participated was Karyn Mottershead, interviewed this week on the sober subjects of outsourcing and joint ventures, where it is definitely inadvisable for one party to try to scalp the other.
A total of 48 Accenture people in Australia shaved their heads to help raise funds for Leukaemia research and patient care.“This is the second year I have supported this very worthy charity event and it was terrific to see so many Accenture staff involved,” says Mottershead, shown here during the Computerworld interview on March 27, 12 days after the balding event.
In Australia, Accenture staff collected more than $A400,000 for the foundation.
