Despite the Child Youth and Family agency and the department of Courts ceasing to use Accenture’s services following the consultancy’s withdrawal from New Zealand, dairy giant Fonterra intends to stick with the company for the time being.
“We have been doing some business with Accenture and some business will continue to be done,” says NZMP communications manager Kara Fleming. NZMP is the major Fonterra business unit for which Accenture was doing business consulting and IT architecture work. The partner leading the work from Accenture’s side, John Gattorna, is based in Australia.
NZMP regards the consultancy’s exit from New Zealand as “a minor inconvenience”, Fleming says.
