Dear What Am I Worth,

I’m 26 and have a certificate in business computing and small business management, and a few certificates in FrontPage and Excel training from Computerland.

I have worked for the last year-and-a-half as a computer assistant for a local government body, providing helpdesk support for 300+ PC users and a handful of offsite remote users.

In addition to this I maintain information on the intranet with an advanced knowledge of FrontPage 2000, perform hardware/system installs and troubleshooting, and undertake various other IT administration duties. I am on $24,000 per annum.

Spherion Recruitment replies: We feel you are a little underpaid. We would have thought that your value was between $27,000 and $30,000. If your employer had to replace your knowledge they would find it difficult at your present level of pay. Submit your question to What Am I Worth?
