Dear What Am I Worth,
I have just graduated from Unitec with a Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in information systems. I also hold an NZIM diploma in management, a diploma in business and a French diploma, majoring in international trade.
I have had contracts (a total of 13 months) working for a government organisation at its overseas branches, as a temp relief for business development managers. This involved liaison with New Zealand exporters and local importers, market researches, interpreting and sector profiling.
I also undertook a project for a large engineering company, analysing their system and how to improve their processes. The findings for this project should help the decision making in the choice and implementation of a new system. This project took 200 hours, spread over four months.
I am fluent in French, English and Vietnamese, and am learning Dutch. I have a solid knowledge of Windows applications and can type up to 75wpm.
Spherion Recruitment replies: With the little information you have provided and without meeting you to have a discussion I have a feeling that you should look at trying to work as a business analyst where you are involved in analysing business problems and developing solutions that improve business processes.
