Unemployed school-leaver

Fresh out of school and unemployed but with strong skills in TCP/IP and the Internet in general.

Dear What Am I Worth

I am fairly fresh out of school and currently unemployed but I have strong skills in TCP/IP and the Internet in general.

I also have skills in networking and Unix — especially Linux.

I have been into computers for years and know them inside out but have no real qualifications to back me up.

I am looking at a junior network/Unix administration role. How much could I expect for this type of role?

Spectrum IT replies: Entry level positions for people with no qualifications usually range from $20,000 to $25,000. However once you have experience and have gained further qualifications this salary should increase considerably.
