Programming experience in Unix-based Arc/Info and Ingres Database.

Dear What Am I Worth

My job title is geospatial analyst. I have more than eight years' systems programming experience in Unix based Arc/Info (AML - arc macro language) and Ingres Database (SQL - structured query language), developing AMLs/menus to extract and analyse statistical data from the Arc/Info library, in conjunction with the Ingres Database, displaying the data as either a visual representation or textual report - thus assisting the successful management and profitability of a large company.

Mercury Consulting Group replies: These are not really skills that we come across often. However if you found work within your specialist industry, we'd guess at around $65,000. If you are trying to sell these skills in the IT market, you could probably expect to earn around $40,000 to $50,000.
