Steve Outtrim of Sausage Software and Chris Jones of Telemedia are the keynote speakers at the second IT Investment Forum next Monday.
The two New Zealanders, who have achieved great financial success in taking their businesses into the Australian market, will be joined at Auckland's Sky City by Australian venture capitalist Roger Allen. The Forum will also feature presentations from four New Zealand technology companies seeking investment in order to expand.
Forum organiser Greg Shanahan of Forum promoters IT Investment Network says the speakers will face an audience of New Zealand technology entrepreneurs keen to learn about the process of raising venture capital from Australian investors and the opportunities Australia and other markets offer.
“There has been considerable interest in the Forum from New Zealand technology companies but also from Australian and New Zealand investors who are keen to scout the New Zealand companies looking for investment and find the next Sausage or Telemedia” says Shanahan.
The first IT Investment Forum, held during the America’s Cup racing in February, attracted nearly 200 to hear speakers including Bill Koch, Tom Perkins, John Sculley and Jim Clark.
