Dear What Am I Worth,

I'm 21 and in my final year of my Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in CS and IS in the Auckland region. I have also worked as a part-time system administration assistant in a NT/Novell mixed environment (small/medium size) for more than one year now.

I have already gained MCSE [Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer], A+ and Network+ and will soon have MCDBA [Microsoft Certified Database Administrator]. Can you please tell me what I will be worth when I graduate from university at the end of this year?

Protocol Personnel replies: It is very good that you have attained your MCSE and A+ certification - this will definitely show your future employer that you are motivated outside of your studies, and have practical qualifications - this will give you a competitive advantage. Most entry level type roles start at $28,000 to $30,000.
